Nunn places third overall at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo

Lovell’s Logan Nunn placed third in the overall average of the Rookie Saddle Bronc Riding at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo recently.

After placing third in round one and 10th in round two, Nunn landed in the third place position out of nearly 80 competitors.

“Competing in Cheyenne is a great experience, and I was fortunate enough to place this year,” he said. “Riding in Cheyenne is so fun, with great horses and great competition.”

Nunn has been involved in rodeo from the age of 10 and got into saddle bronc riding when he was 17 and entering his senior year of high school.

“I got into it because my Grandpa Gene, Uncle Tom and dad (Todd Nunn) did it,” he said. “Now I am doing it for myself.”

Later this year, Nunn will be starting his rookie year in the PRCA, and he is committed to making rodeo his full-time job.

“I will be travelling the country from rodeo to rodeo with the hopes and prayers that I will be able to see the NFR under the Las Vegas lights one day.”
