To bring the Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone and Glacier national parks to a greater number of Americans, three great railroad systems it was announced today have joined in establishing for the coming summer a new series of live “escorted” tours every week from Chicago and St. Louis to these great playgrounds. The tours, varying from 10 days to two weeks in duration, are so arranged that any two of the three parks may be visited on the same trip.

The Lovell-Kane Museum is about to embark on a journey to recreate railroad history for area residents. Using a $7,500 grant awarded last year by the BNSR Railway Foundation, museum volunteers are seeking stories, artifacts and mementos of railroads that existed in the area from the early 1900s through 1965.
