Park Service guest speaker series begins
Area residents are invited to “come in from the cold” and join the Bighorn Canyon staff this winter for the “Fins and Feathers” speaker series.
Once or twice a month, January through April, the park will host a different representative from various agencies and organizations across the Big Horn Basin concerned with the conservation and recreational use of fish, birds and their habitats.
The inaugural event will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Cal S. Taggart Visitor Center in Lovell. Join Larry Timchak of the East Yellowstone chapter of Trout Unlimited to discuss the goals of Trout Unlimited, the cold-water fisheries of Wyoming and trout status at Bighorn Canyon and the surrounding area.
