Pickleball tournament held over the holidays

The 2024 Holiday Pickleball Tournament Men and Women Doubles was held Saturday, Dec. 28, in Lovell. 

There were six women’s and eight men’s doubles teams competing. All the teams competed in a round robin and were then seeded into a double elimination tournament.

Kary Lewis of Cowley and Katie Davison of Powell won the women’s division, beating out Susan Wilkerson and Karen Jones, both of Lovell.

In the men’s doubles C.J. Pickett and Joshua Sanders, both of Lovell, placed first over Cody’s Greg Kealey and Pete Pleban.
