Police Report Bathrooms vandalized at local park … again
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of May 20-26:
May 20: Officers investigated a report of a fraudulent medical bill received by a resident. They found the bill was legitimate.
A report of a domestic argument brought officers to a residence. They determined the argument was verbal. No arrests were made.
May 21: A resident complained that the neighbor’s dog chased him to his trailer and bit him. Officers issued a warning to the dog’s owner.
A woman was bit by a dog after reaching into her brother’s vehicle.
May 24: Officers received a report from a man who said his neighbor sold him an item at an agreed upon price and then later demanded more money. The parties were advised that it is a civil matter.
A resident reported hearing a dog fight. Officers investigated but could not locate the animals.
May 25: Officers were asked to investigate an incident involving medication fraud. The suspected party said there was no fraud.
The bathroom at Great Western Park was found vandalized by police. Officers observed paper towels jammed in the toilet. This has been an ongoing problem at this particular park.
Two juveniles mistakenly took food they thought was being thrown away at a convenience store.
May 26: Officers investigated a report of screaming, yelling and physical threats. The matter is under investigation.
