Police report: Black lab struck by car will be OK

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of October 7-13:

October 8: Police responded to a report that a black lab dog was hit on Shoshone Avenue by the elementary school. The dog suffered a broken hip but will be OK. No charges were pressed.

October 11: Police reacted to a call that reported hearing gunshots on Jersey Avenue. Police determined that it was the fireworks from the Bulldogs football game and not gunshots.

Police responded to a call of suspicious activity at Constitution Park. Officers determined that it was just innocent kids being kids.

October 12: Police responded to a disturbance call of a domestic abuse between a father and son that occurred at East 6th Street. Police determined it was nothing serious. The son packed his belongings and left.

Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Dept. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
