Police Report: Delivery truck driver cited in Lovell and Byron for not reporting accident
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of May 13-19:
May 13: A driver reported to officers that someone stabbed the tire on her vehicle with a pair of scissors while at a local business. A review of video footage did not support the claim.
A resident reported a possible prowler in his backyard. Officers were unable to locate the individual.
May 14: Henry Lee Waters was cited for failure to report hitting an unattended vehicle while driving a Federal Express truck. He was cited for a similar incident in Byron on the same day.
May 15: Officers received a report of a severely injured cat. The cat was humanely euthanized.
Officers investigated a report of suicide, finding an unresponsive male who was later pronounced dead. The matter is under investigation.
May 17: A incident of shoplifting was reported by a local business manager.
A hit and run incident involving a parked car that occurred in an area behind the Big Horn Co-op building is under investigation.
Officers received two separate reports of animal neglect, but both were determined to be unfounded.
A hit and run crash that caused damage to a resident’s mailbox is under investigation.
May 19: Alex Colby Timmons was arrested on an outstanding extraditable warrant out of Texas.
Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Dept. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
