Police report: Multiple domestic calls eventually lead to arrest

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of June 15-21:

June 15: 2:26 a.m. – A caller complained of “very loud music that sounds like a party” in Bair’s Trailer Court on Second Avenue. An officer responded, and the revelers agreed to turn the music down.

2:26 p.m. – Officers intervened in an ongoing dispute between neighbors on Kansas Avenue.

2:29 p.m. – Officers responded to a domestic dispute between adult siblings on East Eighth Street.

June 16: 12:47 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of a male and female fighting on East Eighth Street. 

2:33 a.m. – At the same location as the above two calls, a man called to say his son was intoxicated and that he wants him out of the house. The son had left the home by the time officers responded, and officers were unable to see the individual in the neighborhood.

June 17: 11:52 a.m. – A caller reported that a trailer was blocking an alley on Hampshire Avenue. The owner was contacted and promised to move the trailer when he returned from Burlington.

June 18: 4:48 p.m. – A caller said he had video evidence of dogs in his yard and someone running through his garden.

June 19: 9:11 p.m. – A caller from the Diamond J Bar reported that her brother had punched the hood of her car and left a dent in it. The case is under investigation.

June 20: 7:21 a.m. – A caller stated that a woman was walking north on Shoshone Avenue and “seems zoned out.” An officer made contact, and she said she had just been released from the hospital and needed a ride home.

7:35 p.m. – A caller thought he had misplaced his cell phone while working in Powell, but a find-a-phone feature showed the phone in Lovell. The caller was able to retrieve the phone.

7:55 p.m. – Following a call reporting a domestic case on East Eighth Street in Lovell with alcohol involved, Coty Brinkerhoff was arrested on a bond violation.

June 21: 12:36 a.m. – A caller reported that she was trapped in her car on Nevada Avenue because three large dogs threatened to attack her every time she tries to get out of the car. An officer responded and stayed on scene while the woman entered her home.

5:45 a.m. – A theft of food was reported at Maverik, and the female customer was contacted and agreed to return and pay for her food.

11:05 p.m. – Lovell police received multiple calls about a black bear seen on north Oregon Avenue. An officer found tracks but could not find the bear. Game and Fish was contacted.
