7:43 p.m. – Officers responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Main Street. A 2024 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Robert Romero was traveling east on Main when a 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Alonda Madrigal drove south onto Main from Montana Avenue and into the path of the Dodge, resulting in a crash. Madrigal was issued a citation for failure to yield the right-of-way, and there were no injuries.
September 16: 7:44 a.m. – A caller reported that a man had wandered into a yard on Montana Avenue near the DFS office, wearing only his underwear. An officer responded and spoke to the man, who had apparently gotten locked out of his nearby apartment. The officer helped him get back into his apartment.

September 19: 3:40 p.m. – A caller reported a semi parked illegally on West Seventh and Bulldog Avenue. An office responded and, unable to make contact with the owner, left a copy of the town ordinance regarding parking in a school zone and a business card for a return call.
September 20: 5:56 a.m. – An officer investigated a report of a young man drinking and driving fast on Main Street. The caller got into an argument with his friend that involved pushing. An officer responded to the caller’s home, but the driver had returned home. The reporting party did not wish to press charges.
9:36 p.m. – A caller reported that her 12-year-old granddaughter “got jumped” by probably fifth-grade girls at Armory Park and brought the girl to the police station. But the girl said she didn’t know the names of her attackers since she is new to the community. The case is under investigation, and the school resource officer was advised.
Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Department. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
