Police Report: A swing set is not vegetative waste
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of August 13-18:
August 13: Police are investigating a person who illegally dumped a swing set at the vegetative waste site on Dudley Drive north of Lovell.
Police responded to a call where a car and a 15-year-old boy on a bicycle collided on West Main Street and Jersey Avenue. There was minor damage to the car on the passenger side and minor damage to the front wheel of the bicycle. Everyone was OK. No charges were pressed.
August 14: Police were notified by a man saying his tires had been sliced and that he found a razor blade in his bike tire. He wanted to report it to make sure it doesn’t happen more times in the community. Police are currently investigating.
August 15: Police were called by a woman who reported that her English Bulldog is missing. Police are unsure if the dog has been found.
August 18: Police responded to a trespasser at Maverik Country Store on West Main. The trespasser was unaware that his verbal ban was still in effect. When officers initiated contact, he left without issue.
