Police report: Woman passed out in store arrested for bond violation
The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of January 27-February 1:
January 29: 5:02 p.m. – A caller reported that his black female Labrador named Nora had pushed through a window on East 8th Street and escaped the home while he was in school. The dog returned home later.
January 30: 9:06 a.m. – A caller reported a rather large – 17 pounds – orange tabby cat had gone missing on East 8th Street. Police had no report on whether the large feline returned home safely.
February 1: 1:37 p.m. – An employee of Lovell Drug called to report a female drunk and passed out on the floor. An officer arrived on scene and arrested San Juanita Montanez Stanley, 67, for a bond violation. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out, then taken to the Big Horn County Detention Center in Basin.
Note: The above calls were received by the Lovell Police Department. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
