Rodeo circuit enters the home stretch

With just two regular season events remaining, Pablo Good and his daughter Lacee Good are leading the Big Horn Rodeo Circuit’s men’s and women’s all-around competition.

Lacee, with 93 points, has a commanding lead over her closest pursuer, Cherain Richmond, with 49. Brandy Herman and Calli Nelson each have 43.

Pablo’s hold on the top spot is more tenuous. He has 54 points, but Casey Good, with 49, and J.T. Collingwood, with 46, are hot on his heels as the season enters the home stretch.

The circuit standings reflect the first seven events of the season, which included stops in Cowley (twice), Greybull, Lovell, Ten Sleep, Worland and Basin.

Two regular season events remain — the Hot Springs County Chute-out this weekend in Thermopolis followed by the annual Labor Day rodeo in Meeteetse — before the Circuit finals September 13 in Cowley.
