Sandra Sue McConnell

May 23, 1952 – May 5, 2025

Sandra Sue (Bundy) McConnell of Lovell, formally of Kenesaw, Nebraska, passed away May 5, 2025, in Cody. 

Sandra was born May 23, 1952, in Hastings, Nebraska, to Carl and Arlien (Ernst) Bundy. She was raised in Kenesaw and attended Kenesaw Public School. Sandra married Bradford McConnell Sr. April 1, 1973. They were married for 34 years, raising their two children, Kelly and Bradford Jr., in Kenesaw. After Bradford Sr. died in 2008, Sandra moved to Kearney, Nebraska, then to Lovell.

Sandra enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors, playing cards and spending time with her family. She always enjoyed the company of her pets, most recently her cat Emily.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Arlien Bundy, husband Bradford Sr., brother LeRoy Bundy, sister-in-law Ruth Bundy and nephews Greg Bundy and Doug Bundy.

Survivors include her children, Kelly (Darrel) Miller of Geneva, Nebraska, and Brad (Alicia) McConnell of Lovell; grandchildren Aliana (Tyler) Zebert of Central City, Nebraska, Benjamin Miller of Geneva, Nebraska, Penny Pimentel of Powell and Diamond Saldana; great-grandson Luca of Lovell; brother Gary (Carla) Bundy of Hooper, Nebraska; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend Garret Hereth of Lovell.
