Sheriff’s report: Lost snowmobilers find their way back

The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office received the following calls for the week of April 8-15:

April 8: Moriah Irene Reynosa was arrested in Burlington on a probation violation.

April 9: A deputy conducted an educational workshop for employees at a local business. The purpose of the workshop was to teach employees who work outside to identify and handle suspicious items before turning them in to law enforcement.

A two-vehicle crash took place in Cowley, resulting in damage to both vehicles, a 2017 black Subaru and a 2010 white Audi. Nick Sponsel was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.

A search and rescue team was called to look for out-of-state snowmobilers who were overdue returning to a lodge. The snowmobilers made contact by radio and returned to the lodge on their own.

April 10: An individual called to express concern that a friend may be conversing with a scammer online. An investigation is pending more information.

April 11: Deputies received a report of loose dogs on Highway 310 near Lovell.

Deputies responded to a fender bender that took place at a gas station in Lovell.

Deputies received a report of cows on the side of the road on Road 9 near Lovell. 

A report of a suspicious person in Byron was investigated by deputies. They were unable to locate the person.

Deputies removed a tire from Highway 310 that was creating a hazard.

April 12: A sheriff’s deputy responded to a report of a domestic argument at a residence near Lovell.

A report of cows out on Highway 14A was received by deputies.

Conrad Nagel Richardson Reddin of Cowley was arrested for DUI.

Rosalina Marie Flores of Powell was arrested in Byron for failure to pay a fine.

April 13: A resident of Deaver asked for help unlocking a vehicle.

Note: The above calls were received by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office. Persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and charges made upon initial arrest may be amended or dismissed as determined by the County Attorney.
