Sheriff’s report: Suspicious person just walking to gym

The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office received the following calls for the week of July 8-14:

July 9: Deputies issued a trespass order at the request of a property owner in Frannie.

Loose livestock were reported on the highway near Byron.

July 10: Loose horses were reported on Road 5 near Byron.

Deputies investigated a report of harassment by a family member in Frannie.

July 11: A vehicle owner reported that an unidentified individual shattered his windshield with a rock in Byron. The matter is under investigation.

July 12: Deputies helped clear debris from Highway 310 that was creating a road hazard near Deaver.

July 13: A suspicious person was reported walking on Highway 310 near Lovell. Upon investigation, deputies learned that the person was just walking to her gym.

The theft of a heavy-duty high-pressure hose from the boat inspection station near Frannie is under investigation.

Deputies responded to a domestic argument in Cowley. Subsequently, Tara Cliame was arrested for DUI after being seen driving erratically in the area near Cowley.

Two individuals were caught on camera trying to break into a shed on BLM land in the Crystal Creek area. The matter is under investigation.

Deputies were called to the scene when a driver backed into a ditch near the Byron Days fireworks festivities.
