Sheriff’s report Trashed four-wheeler abandoned at rodeo grounds
The Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office received the following calls for the week of May 27 - June 2:
May 27: Deputies stepped up extra patrol at Horseshoe Bend Marina.
Deputies were alerted to be on the lookout for a vehicle stolen from Park County. The vehicle was found in the south end of the county.
May 28: A deputy helped remove some wood that was causing a hazard on Road 5 near Byron.
A resident near Lovell reported a horse on his property that did not belong to him.
Town of Byron employee spraying weeds got into a verbal altercation with a property owner near where he was spraying.
May 29: A Frannie resident was issued a warning for a violation of an ordinance involving his dog.
May 31: Deputies advised a couple near Lovell in a dispute about auto insurance that it was a civil matter.
June 1: Deputies were alerted to an abandoned vehicle in Byron. Upon investigation, they discovered the vehicle was not abandoned.
A report of a dog not being cared for properly in Cowley is under investigation.
June 2: A badly damaged and abandoned four-wheeler at the rodeo grounds was reported to deputies, who made attempts to identify the vehicle’s owner.
