According to a sheriff’s report, he allegedly called his girlfriend and told her he was going to kill the dog, and when she returned home, she found the dog dead. The Lovell Police Department was called initially, but the east side of Quebec Avenue at that location is in the county, so the call was referred to the sheriff’s office, which made the arrest. Calvert was also charged with misdemeanor property destruction and domestic violence.

She was reportedly doing well.
May 17: 1:32 a.m. – A 17-year-old juvenile reported that he had rolled his pickup on the Crystal Creek Road and that his hand was bleeding. Ambulance and the fire department responded to the scene.
