Sherry Fink

Aug. 22, 1944 – Nov. 12, 2021

Sherry Fink left this world to be with her Lord on Nov. 12, 2021. Sharon Kay Torghele was born in Lander, Wyo., on Aug. 22, 1944, to Dorothy Joanna Parker and Tullio Torghele. Sherry lived in Hudson where she attended grade school and high school in Lander.

She attended Ventura College in California and the University of Wyoming where she met her future husband, Kenneth Fink.

Sherry was confirmed at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Student Center in Laramie. Ken and Sherry were married on Aug. 5, 1967, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Lander. They lived in Laramie, Cheyenne, Casper, and Basin where Ken worked as an engineer for the Wyoming Highway Department. Sherry had been involved with fabrics and quilting for over 30 years; she worked at quilt shops in Casper and Greybull. She taught quilting techniques to quilters throughout Wyoming.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ken Fink; brothers-in-law, Don (Sharon), Ron (Fay), and Garry (Lori); cousins Tom (Kathy) Fischer and Kathy (Ry) Blount.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Greybull on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place at the Antelope Butte Crematory in Greybull. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atwood Family Funeral Directors
