Both Rocky Mountain and Lovell high schools have held spring music and theater events, and there are more to come on local school calendars.

Rocky Mountain High School got the run of performances going with a pre-festival concert on March 25 featuring the RMHS band and choir, which was played before a packed house at the RMHS Commons.

Lovell High School followed this Monday and Tuesday with the musical “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.” The twin performances delighted audiences at the LHS Multipurpose Room.

Next up is the Lovell Middle School musical “The Trials of Alice in Wonderland” Tuesday, April 8, at 7 p.m. at the LHS Multipurpose Room. Teacher and director Keath Fenton said of the musical, “It is a retelling of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ in a courtroom setting. All the favorite characters are there giving testimony about Alice’s adventures.”

A high school band and choir concert follows on Tuesday, April 22, at 7 p.m. at the LHS Gym.

There are multiple concerts in May. The current schedule is as follows:

Thursday, May 1 – RMHS musical “Romeo and Harriet,” 7 p.m., RMHS Commons

Saturday, May 3 – RMHS musical “Romeo and Harriet,” 7 p.m., RMHS Commons
