Students honored at Lovell Elementary assembly
The first of five student-led PRIDE assemblies were held Friday morning at Lovell Elementary School.
Through the PRIDE program, students are taught Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Determination and Empathy (PRIDE), and Friday’s Purpose assembly, led by the student council, was conducted in two parts: grades K-2 at 9 a.m. and grades 3-5 at 9:45.
Lovell High School cheerleaders taught the students an interactive hand-slapping game to the tune “Rockin Robin” as the final segment of each assembly.
Each classroom teacher honored a student who exhibits the values of Purpose in their studies. Honored were:
Kindergarten – Kynlee Palmer, Louanna Bassett and June Fenton
First grade – Maverick Foster, Luke Sanders and Gracie Ballard
Second grade – Reed Wallace, Connor Grant and Dean Martens
Third grade – Brooklyn Tippetts, Averee Jones and Sophia Wheeler
Fourth grade – Wyatt Anderson, Myla Robertson and Grayson Walker
Fifth grade – Madelyn Craw, Cayden Dickerson and Cinch Bischoff.
The next assembly, Respect, is scheduled for November 7.
