Terri Lee Timmons

Terri Lee Timmons passed away at home on December 28, 2023, after a long, courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on August 8, 1952, to Robert “Bob” Hansen and Thora “Teddy” Baldwin in Lovell. She was the oldest of three children with sister Robbie Ann and brother Robert Scott.
Terri was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities, including Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, Sunday school and ward librarian for 30 years. Terri’s first devotion was to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and her second to her family. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Terri’s grandchildren were the delight of her life. She and husband Loyd raised their granddaughter Madison for many of her growing up years. Her many interests included her love of working in her yard with plants and herbs, music, art and singing many solos and in choirs over her lifetime. Her art pursuits earned her a degree in interior design from BYU.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Teddy, and siblings Robbie and Scott.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Loyd “Red”; daughter Taya; sons Tanner and Trevor; and grandchildren Trennon and Tymberlyn Talbot, Madison, Avery, Oliver, Lily, Tristan, Liberty and Asher Timmons and Orin Onstine.
Services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1026 Ave. E, Powell. There will be a viewing on Friday at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Additionally, there will be a viewing Thursday, Jan. 4, at Thompson Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
