Volunteers needed for Beaver Creek Ranch fence removal

The Big Horn Fence Initiative will be removing half a mile of barbed wire fence and posts on Beaver Creek Ranch to benefit wintering wildlife.

Anyone willing to volunteer for a couple of hours of work should meet at 8:30 a.m. on June 15 at the dinosaur tracks turnoff (Red Gulch Road) on Highway 14 between Shell and Greybull.

Once at the turnoff, there will be a carpool to the fence that will be about a half an hour drive, then the next couple of hours will be spent removing the fence.

Afterwards, the Tipsy Cow will be providing lunch for the volunteers as a token of appreciation.

If you are interested in helping, please bring your gloves, water and clothes that will protect against the barbed wire and a smiling face.
