Police Report: Family assaults keep Lovell officers busy

The Lovell Police Department received the following calls for the week of June 10-16:

June 12: A female resident reported male harassment. She was referred to the CARES organization for additional help.

June 13: Jesse Agapito Rodriguez was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges involving unlawful contact.

June 14: A resident who returned home after being out of town returned to find dog feces and a neighbor’s car parked in his yard.

Lovell police received a report from a person in Las Vegas who claimed that a person in Lovell had opened a business in her name. Upon investigation, they found that the person named on the business was also being scammed by identity thieves operating online. It was suggested that both parties block their accounts and seek help from an ID protection company.

June 15: A fight between a father and son was reported to police. Officers issued a citation to the son for minor in possession of alcohol.

June 16: Officers responded to an assault complaint where a juvenile male allegedly attacked an adult female sibling. The juvenile was arrested after it was determined he assaulted the female.
