Mustang Days Car Show winners announced

The winners of the 2024 Mustang Days Car Show were announced last week after judging of the 40 vehicles entered in the June 27 event.

Jennie Rael won Best of Show with her 1957 Thunderbird, and Troy Cozzens took Best Modern Build with his 2009 Dodge Challenger.

Best Classic Build went to Jean Lely and his 1966 Mustang convertible while Best Custom Build was Rick Grandalen with his 1955 Chevy pickup.

Another favorite was the Diamond in the Rough category won by Jim Walker and his 1940’s Chevy truck.

“It was a good turnout, and everyone had a good time,” event coordinator Les Files said. “We’re already looking forward to doing it again next year.”
