Games, food trucks and fun slated for Family Fun Night

No matter where it is held, Family Fun Night has always been a highlight for many that attend the Mustang Days festivities. All the recent construction at Armory Park and its new addition of a walking path has made it the ideal place to hold the annual event this Friday from 5-8 p.m. 

Stations will be set up all along the walking path in the park, providing families with many activities for all age groups to participate in. The games range from sack races and soda toss to life sized games such as Jenga and checkers.

In addition to the games, there will be face painting and hair tinsel stations for all to enjoy at the pavilion.

The Family Fun Night isn’t complete without food, which will not be lacking Friday evening. Family Fun Night coordinator Jourdan May said that the current plan is to have eight or nine food trucks at the park for attendees to purchase food and refreshments.

To add to the ambiance of the event, there will be live music at the amphitheater to enjoy. The Lovell High School Sugar Beats will be performing, as will other local musicians like Bret Savage and Stephanie Petrich.
