Lovell Stake sends missionaries to serve

The Lovell Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will have more than 50 missionaries serving throughout the world by the end of this summer.

Nearly 20 missionaries will leave this summer, with several more departing later this fall. This year’s list includes missionaries who will speak five different languages while serving in 11 different countries. Their assignments span nearly every corner of the globe, from North and South America to Europe, Asia and the Pacific.

In the fall of 2025, shortly after becoming president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, President Dallin H. Oaks announced that young women would be eligible to begin serving full-time missions at age 18 instead of waiting until age 19. The change has resulted in a noticeable increase in the number of missionaries entering the field throughout the church.

Full-time female missionaries serve for 18 months, while male missionaries serve for 24 months. Missionaries are assigned throughout the world, where they spend their time teaching, serving others and sharing their faith.

The Lovell Chronicle is pleased to recognize local missionaries serving around the globe. While this list includes members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we also want to recognize missionaries from all faiths who serve from our community.
