Youth exhibitors from Big Horn County competed at the Wyoming State Fair last month in Douglas with a handful rising to the top of their divisions.

Greybull brought home a Reserve Champion in Theodore Edelman of the Greybull FFA club in the Youth Breeding Goat Junior Buck Kid division. Edelman also won the Reserve Champion Buck.

Lovell’s Charlee Twitchell won first place in the Dairy Goat Showmanship FFA contest. She was also named the Youth Dairy Goat Champion in the Alpine Senior Doe division.

Cowley’s Camden Koziol, Big Horn County 4-H, was named the Grand Champion in Youth Rabbit in the Any Other Six Class Crossbred: Junior Buck category.

Cowley’s Kimber Bagwell, Big Horn County 4-H, was named the Reserve Champion in Youth Rabbit in the Any Other Six Class Crossbred: Junior Doe category.

But it was Lovell’s Addisyn Perkins who brought home the most awards. Perkins was named Grand Champion in Youth Market Lambs and won Youth Market Lamb Grand Champion Heavy Weight Market Ewe. She also won Youth Breeding Sheep Reserve Champion Dorset Ewe and the Youth Breeding Sheep Champion Commercial Crossbred Ram.

In the Open Class, Perkins claimed the titles of Open Sheep Reserve Champion Dorset Ewe, the Open Sheep Reserve Champion Hampsire Ewe, Open Sheep Grand Champion South Down Ram, and the Open Sheep Reserve Champion Commercial Ewe.
