Middle school harriers compete at home meet

The Rocky Mountain Middle School cross country meet was held Monday, Sept. 14, at the Foster Gulch Golf Course.

Burlington, Cody, Lovell, Powell and Rocky Mountain were represented at the meet. The approximately two-mile course featured a short opening loop followed by a larger loop around the golf course. Conditions were a little warm, but runners still turned in a number of strong times.

Both the Rocky Mountain and Lovell middle school cross country teams will travel to Worland Friday for the Worland Middle School Invitational. The girls race begins at 2 p.m., followed by the boys at 2:30 p.m. The meet will be held at the Worland Golf Course near the airport.
