Farmers Market wraps up the season this Friday
The Lovell Farmers Market will conclude its season Friday, Sept. 25, at Armory Park. Organizer Sharron Nicholls said the market has drawn strong attendance this year and featured a wide variety of vendors.
The final market will offer fresh vegetables, raspberries, pumpkins, cabbage rolls, cinnamon rolls, Amish sourdough bread, Amish blueberry and cherry pies, local butter and yogurt, duck and chicken eggs, hummus, flavored gelato, Amish ice cream, frozen Amish pork, breakfast sausage, Italian sausage and pork chops. Plants, Venezuelan empanadas and homemade vanilla bean flavoring also will be available.
Residents who have not yet visited the market still have one more opportunity. Friday’s forecast looks promising, and the market offers a chance to shop locally while enjoying a community social event.
A free drawing for a $25 Lovell Drug gift card also will be held. Duane and Sharron Nicholls thanked the vendors and community members who supported the Lovell Farmers Market throughout the season.
