Restaurant hopes to reopen at 490 Shoshone Ave. by October 1

The Pizza Factory is moving back to its original location at 490 Shoshone Avenue, with owner Suzette Jewell and her team hoping to reopen there by Thursday, Oct. 1.

“We have done a lot of work on the building on Shoshone and are eager to get moved,” Jewell said. Hours will remain 4 to 8 p.m. Monday; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

Although the move away from Main Street could reduce foot traffic, Jewell said she is confident local customers will continue to support the restaurant. Grand-opening promotions are planned, and the weekday lunch special, Wednesday slice deals and Halloween special will continue.

The Main Street building will be listed for sale. Jewell had intended to purchase it, but she said identity theft she experienced in December left her unable to proceed with the purchase. Air-conditioning problems during the summer also contributed to the decision to return to the Shoshone Avenue location.

Upgrades at the Shoshone Avenue building are expected to support continued dine-in service.

“We are just really looking forward to getting into the new location and will continue to offer good-quality food to our community,” Jewell said. “We have been fortunate with our local regular customers who continue to support our small business, and we appreciate them.”
