James Anthony Pearce, 101, died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell was in charge of arrangements.

Ina Jane Olsen Snell, 84, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Fairwinds-Sand Creek Retirement Community in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was under the care of Solace Hospice.
Ina was born January 2, 1940, in Basin to Delbert M. and Lydia Olsen. She was married to Golden C. Snell Jr. on July 10, 1959, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together, they had five sons, Barry (DaLea), Greg (Colleen), Quinn (Kristen), Sam (Emily) and Dustin (Christine).

Daniel Baird Bennion, 72, a longtime resident of Powell, died from an unexpected and advanced pancreatic cancer in his home on February 28, 2024.
Dan was born at the Powell Hospital on December 23, 1951, to Wayne Harvey and Reva (Baird) Bennion as the third of five children. He was raised in Cowley and became close with his siblings and cousins who lived nearby.

Jeffery Stringham Bassett

Jeffery Stringham Bassett died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at his home in Lovell.
He was born to Joe and Iris Bassett on January 25, 1961, in Lovell, the fifth child and fourth son. He would later be joined by his younger sister Jackie. Being the youngest, the two were close and have remained so. Jeff was the first boy born in Lovell in 1961, so he received a basket full of goodies.
